There once was a guy called Mike
Up Everest he would hike
He would make it no worries
If he didn't eat too many curries
As he reached the top
The champagne corks went "POP"
He climbed the highest peak
And you thought he was a geek?
Next he'll be in "Show-Biz"
Love from Ciec and Liz

A wonderful photo Cedric - you ought to enlarge and phrame it.
Acclimatisation is very difficult we imagine - moving backwards and forwards and covering the same difficult terrain. We can only say that we admire you. Go for it Michaey
Love
Dad & Mother
Place an order for any food you want and I'll bake up a storm for when you return (or take you to a restaurant!!!) That's yr mother speaking - Dad still has difficulty boiling an egg. Which reminds me - you don't get the water to boilin point I assume? so how do you avoid all those little nasties?
High Mike
Trust that your hemoglobin are working OT and starting to multiply quicker than a white whiskered Chinese corner deli store owner checking on his abacus how much change he should pay the little indian boy wanting a broom to do some house chores.
So you have reached Camp 2. It took a few years to get here (10 or so), but I hope that the time that it takes you to go from Camp 1, through Camp IV and prayfully to the top will be all within your current expeditions plans. You'll have to tell us all when you get back which segment the sherpas are now calling the Dunjey Step :))
As our mate Johnnie says, Keep walking! I bet the years with the boys have made you mentally tough enough to make it - and we all know the endurance you have. You can do it!

F-bang.
Back to base camp is better than sitting under or in an avalanche. Enjoy the additional rest time - we are thankful all of you are safe and trust the weather clears and the ice stays in place.
It seems patience as well as strength and determination are needed to reach the top and we believe you have all of these qualities.
Malcolm & Audrey
Hi Mike
Just letting you know I am thinking of you lots while you are on the mountain and I am still training hard on the hills of Dianella. I hope the megabars are going down well. The photos have been great although I was suprised to see some of the guys in shorts and thongs!!!!?? I am looking forward to more updates from your successful climb. K.Kras
Our dear Michael we are sobered by your account. We admire your courage and stickability
If knowing that you are constantly in our thoughts and prayers helps then believe that that is so.
We love you and look forward, for your sake, to a successful summit and quick return.
We remember you used to survive on weetbix and vegemite for sustenance.I guess there's not much of that arround.
Much love
Dad & Mother
Hi Mikey -
It is SO hard to imagine what you are going through - and your tales of what you have been through and what you have already achieved are extraordinary! Know that we are all thinking of you constantly - praying you maintain your strength, wisdom and appetite! So remember - left foot, breath, swallow, right foot, breath, swallow.....

You are very brave.
God be with you as you travel
We hope your appetite improves
You have already achieved more than most people.
Hi Mike. A few chuckles and butterflies in the somach is the lucky feeling of success. Take it from me. You are focused and have the picture in your mind and that means SUCCESS. The positive thoughts of your family and friends will keep up the strength in you and we all know that you have got what it takes. Keep on and on and on my friend. Our thoughts are there with you and the pain is shared by us all. Go Mate and don't look down! John Pikora.
Hi Michael,
Following your adventure,geat stuff!
Praying for your safety and success. Keep well. Eat plenty....we'll eat for you too!
Dunj,
I am rooting for you and your team to make it up there safetly. Update your website for May 3 and 4. Your website is very organized.
Mikey,
Congrats on reaching Camp 3. Only another 1500m to go. Just think - if you were on the track you would do it in about 4 mins 10 sec...
Wish you well for the next phase of the climb. Be careful of Sheeny if he's around - this is when he's at his most dangerous.
The Shauno
High Mike
So now that you've been in all 3 camps, which one are you going to put in an offer for?? some seeing some pics on the net, they might need a little work to make them a bit more homely :)
But seriously, hope that the legs are still strong, the appetite still healthy and above all, the mind still focused. As the wiseman AJ once said "got get 'em tiger"..... and incase you ever feel a bit tired and want to sit down (probably not :)) just think of Pete's gold finger under you, encouraging you to move forward.
Onwards and upwards!
Kuz
CONGRATULATIONS ON ALL YOU HAVE TAKE PRIDE IN WHAT YOU HAVE DONE MICHAEL

Lizzie and me climbed to 1270m yesterday at Mt Wellington in Hobart in just 40 minutes (Yeah, OK it was in a hire car). It was freezing! We're back in the west today. Take care. Love from Liz and Lach.
HOLD YOUR HEAD HIGH MICHAEY.
WE ARE PROUD OF YOU.
MAY GOD BLESS AND USE YOU - YOU ARE A ' WINNER ' AS FAR AS WE ARE CONCERNED.

We're also REALLY glad that you are coming home w. fingers and toes.

Hi Michael,
Do you remember our brief meeting at the Tony Robbins preview seminar a few years back? I've found a great church not far from Riverview, and my spiritual life is really starting to fire up. I hope your spiritual life is going well too; it's the only thing that really matters in the end :)
I noticed that Ricky Mui and Bruce Kelly have also visited here...
Best wishes

Michael Dunjey is recovering at his Manning home, but all 10
fingers have been damaged and the feeling in three is not
expected to return for six to nine months.
Rubbish, your fingers were only slightly frost nipped. Bearly beyound cold. They recovered within an hour. Come on!!
Frostbite struck on May 2 when Mr Dunjey was leading the
team up Lhotse Face — 100m below a rest camp at 7400m.
Again, rubbish. At about 6600m, just above Camp 2 at the start of teh Lhotse Face where you were at the back of the group.
Why all the bullshit!!
I got this web site from my buddy who shared with me about this web site and now this time I
am browsing this site and reading very informative content at this
place.
